WEEK 9 and Ten

let me just get right to the point hahaha,

so week nine, here we go! time travel! :

canto xmasing dvd cover!

we filmed for the preschool and 3rd and 2nd grade's christmas performance!

HAHAHH kyle.

we went to see AAU's film facility! we visited the sets that students use for their film projects and it was huge! there were so many sets! their sound stage was really big too! i think that AAU is more, artsy, than Expressions; Expressions, to me, is more technical, but both are really good universities! but i'd chose Expressions! cuz i be loving all the technical stuff. hohoho!

i was on the boom for the afternoon Cantonese chrsitmasing! wow, it was tiring! but really fun! what i find the funniest is when i raise the camera really high so it'll be at the same level as the performers on stage, and you cant really tell if the camera is high or not! hahahah so there was once the director asked me to zoom in and i'll just be like, looking at tania at camera 6, and she'll tell the director that i cant reach the zoom. hahahah!

we attended the English christmasing sing rehearsal! theres germaine and sophia rehearsing their duet! :D its really really realllyyyyyyyy good. we helped set up the cafetorium such that it replicated the layout of the real stage, which would be at Scottish rite! we stayed through the whole rehearsal so we would know what to expect during the actual day. 

later that day we went to Joylynn's place to hang out and play with Sophia, mimi, jason, tiffany & jansen . we palyed Saboteur!! i was in the same team as Joylynn! HAHAHAH power to the sabo kia.

we played like 5 times i think, AND EVERY SINGLE TIME, joylynn let me pick the card to determine if you were gonna be a miner or a saboteur, AND EVERY SINGLE TIME, I WAS THE SABOTEUR. i kept picking the saboteur card!!!!!!!!!!! how is that even possible?!?!?! 

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. i do not understand what kind of witchcraft this is.

we packed all the equipment we needed for christmasing!

took down the remote cams!

HAHAHAH boss. everyone needs to learn how to run and coil cables properly. (if not you'll end up having cable hair like our boss, shusshhhh....) 

lol packing stuff, and 'decorating' the boxes. 

HAHAHAHAHA ok, i called myself the BNC QUEEN cuz i love to plug in and plug out BNCs, lol, i unplugged all the bncs for the switcher. 

so. many. glorious. cables.

my area of expertise, HAHAHAHAAHA i just like to plug in BNCs. :D and i was basically setting up and doing this most of the time.

but once it got really confusing, i was just lost. lol

oh but i did this, lol i connected the barrels/adapters 3 times, hahahhahaahhaha idk, it looks so funny....

oh and i was the photographer on the 1st day of christmasing! hahah it was really fun, crawling around like a ninja, LOL matt said he saw 'a hobo crawling around the bottom of the stage in a hood.' thats me guys, trying not to be seen or disturb other people, obviously a failed attempt lol scroll down till the end! i'll psot up some photos! :D

came back from christmasing and we had to set up the whole studio and sacntuary cuz we were going to LA the next day! 

i literally spent 2 hours trying to plug in all the BNCs and other cables back for the switcher in the cold cold machine room lol. hahahhah but it was really quite fun cuz kev was constantly helping me with the BNCs and all, PLUS HE KEPT OF MAKING FUN OF ME LOL, and vice versa, lol it was a lot of fun and laughter

we ended around 4am!!!! HAHAAAH so hardcore.

All righty then! chrsitmasing was really a busy busy busy period! but i love love love it so much, it was great fun and i learnt a number of things, many being technical stuffffff hehehhehe i really enjoyed it a lot and see you next year for christmasing 2013, AHAHAHHAHHA.
