SEVEN & eight

HEY, acelyn cakes here. no excuses..... i really forgot about this blog..... hahahhaha fo real, mah apologies man. I THINK, i think ah, its a blog thing, cuz i have mah own blog, i blog when i feel like, but this, i gotta be consistent, and yeh...... my laziness overpowered my responsibilities... AHHHHH.

but no worries! im fairly organised, i write everything in mah MAMESHIBA notebook,

so yeah!

basically, all that i have been doing: designing and filming and editing the xmasing highlights video! i work in the live prod studio alone and its really comfy~~~~ i love it. lone wolf, my mom calls me. heh. so yeah! i am honestly quite happy the past weeek(s), did a fair amount of work... lotsa designing and all, even non work projects! time to start doing more ae, lol later i keep doing ai, i forget all the ae stuff... :(

anyway to start this off;

we went to alcatraz and it was amazing, the sound effects and dialogue was just so impactful and engaging. really shows how important sound and audio play an important role when telling or conveying a story. it was really one of the best 'exhibitions' i have ever been to.

matt brought us out again! and we went to a really cool bookstore! it was really packed full of books ranging from novels to film to art.

i bought this typography/graphic design second hand book for 18USD! :D love it so much

ok then we went racing. lol

this is me in a helmet. really fun and eggciting, but im a really scared person, forever panicking and worrying.......... why am i so un-fun....

we learnt about cables and a lot of technical stuff! :D

super confusing and all but i actually find it really interesting, although im not super good at it, or even differentiating all the different kinds of cables. but like... cool leh. to me la, lol.

i also finished up the canto one too, lol idk what colours cuz boss and co. wanted to use up all the CMYK.

k then i finished the mandarin xmasing dvd cover!

filmed rev lau too！lol he kept saying he was in singapore, ergo we gotta change his backgrnd to probably like a merlion or smth -.-

i was on remote camera, pretty fun, but of cuz not as fun as the real cam. lol i am so ma fan cuz the headsets are really tight and heavy, i was afraid my glasses would break, and btw, it broke again today. -.-

oh and i had to be the cam engeineeeeeeeeer toot cuz no one was controlling the iris and stuff, so like i had to go back and forth on the 3 cams' irsis cuz the lighting on stage was constantly changing, lol i love it, i love it when like i have to multi task (sorta). idk, thats just me heh.
