Week 4?! So Fast!

Finally is the end of week 4! this week is perhaps the most intense week yet as we need to complete editing the thanksgiving music video and help to set up and shoot for their chinese thanksgiving dinner!  Is tiring but yet after finishing the edit for the music video, I felt a sense of gladness and joy that I was able to edit a music video to be view by so many people. Even more then my final year project I was doing. So yea! I learn a lot during the whole week while I was editing and in the end when it was completed and shown during the dinner. I was proud of it and really glad I was given the chance to edit it.

Well beside editing this week, We went to shoot some of the shots for the music video on monday.

And last but not least! We did LIVE filming on saturday for their thanksgiving dinner. It was quite stressful as everyone can see on the screen what you are shooting, but after awhile I am able to get the hang of it and really enjoy and learn alot during the whole LIVE production. It was FUN!

So far! I really had many opportunity to learn and hands-on here in 1light media. Simple things like learning to coil wires , setting up of different filming equipments, learning the use of different video cables, assisting in a production like being a cameraman assistant, being just the guy that in-charge of the slate and doing bigger things like being the camera operator, and editor, learning how to use the sound mixer  and many other equipments. Also able to have the opportunity to learn and shoot during a LIVE production which is my first time learning here, editing and shooting a music video. Wether is the small things or big things, I had a great exposure here during my one month stay and I look forward to learn more during the next two months! Till then! Bye!
